November 14th 2003: Launched and to be delivered to Costa Grociere, Naples, Italy in 2004.

July 19th 2004: Floated out. Her inauguration in November marked the final phase of Costa's fleet expansion since being acquired by Carnival Corporation, which has increased its capacity by 63 percent in the last two years.

July 21st 2004: Sailed from the yard at Sestri Ponente, Genoa.

July 22nd 2004: Arrived at Fincantieri of Palermo, Sicily for cleaning and painting of the hull.

July (late) 2004: Returned to Sestri Ponente, conducting her official trials during the crossing of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

November 6th 2004: Christened in Barcelona.

November 8th 2004: Maiden cruise to Naples - Messina - Kotor Bay - Venice - Dubrovnik - Corfu.

November 18th 2004: Maiden voyage from Savona to Naples - Alexandria - Limas Sol - Rhodes - Marmaris - Piraeus - Katakolon.

May 19th 2006: Due to call at Dover, but cancelled owing to severe bad weather.

September 9th 2006: Inaugural call at Dover.
