Sisters "Who needs `em?"

Following on from a recent debate over on the Dover Ferry Photos Forum I would like to offer Nigel's article with regards to sisters.

 Sisters "Who needs `em?"

Someone, could have been me, once wrote “Sisters………..who needs ‘em?”

Good, bad, ugly, pretty, reliable or prone to breakdowns. They are all different in some way.

It’s the same in the ferry world really.

Take a look at the sisters, some of which live or have lived in Dover at some time or other.

Most recent there are the Maersk triplets.

There are more and if you include all the half sisters the list goes on forever. Just like my sister.

So the answer is, yep, we all need sisters.

When you see yours, give her a hug and think of a favourite ferry (on second thoughts don’t!).

You never know, one day you might look back and think how good she was.

I love mine, honest!!!!
